Find Your Voice - Where Leaders Become Confident Speakers
What if the path you were born into wasn’t the one you were meant to walk?
I grew up in a family of medical doctors. I learned to measure blood pressure and hold a stethoscope earlier than most, though at the time, I didn’t grasp the weight of what they represented.
Medicine was part of my DNA, shaping my curiosity and values from the very beginning.
Yet when the time came to choose my path, I was drawn to the chemical side of things: pharmacy. Little did I know that this choice would open so many versatile doors: research and development, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, hospitals, universities, labs, and the pharma industry.
I chose the pharma industry. And to the surprise of many close to me, I didn’t pursue a hospital or university career. Instead, I took the unusual road for a PharmD and leaned into the business side of pharma.
Why? Because science and medicine were already deeply ingrained in me. I wanted to explore how strategy, leadership, and business decisions could be powered by science and driven by a deeper purpose: saving people’s lives or at least improving their quality of life.
For the past 21 years in pharma, this hybrid background has been my compass. It’s how I’ve surfed the waves of the industry, combining the rigor of science with the impact of business and leadership communication at senior levels.
And along the way, another layer emerged: leadership and public speaking. What began as a skill to navigate high-stakes meetings and speak at conferences, while inspiring international teams in pharma, became a calling of its own.
Over time, I found myself not just leading, but speaking on stages, coaching others to lead with clarity, and stepping into my work as a public speaking coach and leadership communication coach.
That’s how Find Your Voice by Hana Brellah was born, as a natural extension of everything I’ve lived, learned, and led, and of my work as a public speaking coach supporting leaders in moments that matter.
At the end of the day, I believe the strongest strategies are those rooted in science, guided by purpose, and delivered with presence, the same principles that shape my approach as a public speaking coach.
And this is why I believe in hybrid choices, in multiple layers, and in many paths in life.
Each one completes the other. Each one broadens the other. Each one challenges the other.
For those who’ve ever stood at a crossroads, wondering if a different path might hold the key, here is your Sunday reminder:
Your upbringing defines you to a certain extent.
Your studies define you to a certain extent.
Your career defines you to a certain extent.
But nothing defines the whole of you. It’s all those elements united that truly define you.
So make choices.
Make new choices.
Life is too short not to try.
What choices have shaped your own journey the most?
